OK, we're getting ready for the big trip of the summer. 8,500 miles or so according to the GPS. Joe, Paul, and I are headed west in search of the best motorcycle roads the USA has to offer. The bike is ready, the route is planned and entered in the GPS and I just have the final details to complete. The goal for the first day is 1025 miles from Winston-Salem, NC to Henryetta, OK.
There is a level of excitement brewing. I am writing my list for what to pack knowing we will incur hot and probably rain. We may experience some cold especially at high altitude. It will be good to get on the road again with Dick and Paul.
